Core Competencies in Clinical Research: Real World Applications, Convergence and Evolution of a Framework

Wednesday, October 19, 2016
8:00 AM  5:00 PM
Harvard Faculty Club

Since its release in 2014, the Harmonized Core Competency Framework for the Clinical Research Professional has been utilized globally by organizations involved in clinical research, from academia to industry, to contract research organizations and professional societies. Each organization has applied the Framework in order to meet its specific needs, and this Workshop was intended to highlight innovative uses of the Framework. More than that, this Workshop represents the Joint Task Force’s vision of evolving the Framework to meet the needs of clinical researchers worldwide. A main objective of the Workshop was to gather feedback from implementers on how the Framework might be revised and how the Joint Task Force might develop additional resources and connect organizations utilizing the Framework.
