Emad Salman Shaikh, MD, MPH, joined the MRCT Center in March 2023 as a Program Manager, focusing primarily on developing and designing a series of training modules on Good Clinical Practice ICH E6(R3), General Consideration of Clinical Trials ICH E8(R1), and General Principles for Planning and Design of Multi-Regional Clinical Trials ICH E17. He is also collaborating on harmonizing efforts to build capacity for clinical research in new geographical regions.

Emad brings 15 years of experience in direct patient care, medical affairs, clinical trial operations, and management. Previously, he has worked for Massachusetts General Hospital, among others. He has also contributed to designing studies, writing several articles, poster abstracts, book chapters, and quality improvement projects.

Emad earned an MD from Pakistan and did his residency training in Orthopedics at ACGME-I accredited Weil Cornell affiliated Hamad General Hospital in Doha, Qatar. He earned his MPH in Clinical Effectiveness, with a concentration in Management and Health Economics, from Harvard T. H Chan School of Public Health.
