Jack Ferdman, JD, MPH, joined the MRCT Center in September 2023 as a Research Analyst focusing primarily on building out frameworks to equip clinical researchers to continue trials safely and ethically in times of emergency. Jack also monitors global policy changes in the clinical trial space to ensure the MRCT Center’s guidance remains on the vanguard of clinical research. Jack brings 15 years of experience in drug and vaccine discovery research to complement his health policy analyses. Previously, he has worked for AbbVie, Seqirus, and Massachusetts General Hospital, among others. He has also contributed to health equity efforts with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy and recently contributed a textbook chapter on vaccine policy.

Jack earned a JD specializing in Health Law from Boston University School of Law, an MPH in Health Policy, Law, and Management from Boston University School of Public Health, and a BS in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Emmanuel College. He currently serves on the Leadership Council of Boston Scores, a community outreach organization aiming to empower underprivileged and inner-city students to build essential life skills and academic success through team-based enrichment programs.
